So I guess I should introduce myself then... it's a bit like first day at an AA meet really

My name's Rick from R.O.O. Paranormal Research, I'm older than I'd care to admit and I have an itch that needs to be scratched. Namely, the paranormal...

Are paranormal events 'Real' events, such as squeaky floorboards and involuntary muscle movements that we put down to 'spirit activity' simply because we are in a heightened mental state. Or are they truly caused by the 'Otherside'?

Are they Real.Or.Otherside? (see what we did there?... genius!)


R.O.O.P.R itself was formed very recently by myself and Mike Garde - a good friend for many years, whom I trust implicitly . However our interest in the paranormal has spanned many years, we have been on several investigations and it's only recently where we have decided to get little more serious. It's all very well having personal experiences, but unless you have the 'tech' to back it up - it remains as such... a personal experience.

As such, we now use a night-vision camcorder, a couple of voice recorders, digital still cameras, a homemade (don't laugh!) EMF detector, trigger objects, etc... with a view to capturing these experiences and sharing our findings on our blog www.rickpool.info
